    Depression is pervasive and hits all walks of life equally. The difference is that its more acceptable to tell people how depressed you are while using toys that cost enough to pay the rent for the lower class than it is to be depressed and poor. In our symbiotic reality we want an approachable depression that requires a minimum of effort to ease. The more you are stricken with a disease like poverty the more that disease looks like leprosy to everyone else. Ah, life. Where its only acceptable to whine when you have everything handed to you on a silver platter.

    Love. More than glances and the fire of a first touch. More than meetings and passings and longings in the midnight of dreams. When its true it belies portents and prediction. It simply stands longer than all the nay saying that surrounds it. It is a process, harder than stone, longer than need, more fragile than a shadow. If its meant to be than nothing will stop you from keeping it together. If it isn’t than nothing will stop you from walking out the door. Don’t ask if its meant to be. That’s the question for people who think love is given to us as some kind of reward. Rather you should ask, Will I fight for this through all the slings and arrows of arguments, disease, and poverty? Will I stand firm when all there is in this world is you and me and our love for one another?
